I made these Semi transparent blue gray icons for you to try out. I have no idea if semi transparent is a good idea or not. I just tried different background colors now after making them and I think they might be fine on solid colors.

I first saw Downcome on PicMonkey and had to find it. I did over at font squirrel where they say they have 100% free commercial use font.
I don’t know what I’d use this font for but I like it. Boycott is made by Flat it if you do something cool with it he’d love for you to send him a sample of your work.

This is yet another free fun fall template from Mebemej. This is one came in a .png form so I just put the photos under it. I guess if I knew what I was doing I could make a clipping mask for each photo and have it all ready to go for each time I wanted to use it. But I’m too busy admiring other beautiful template and planning to use them sometime.
I just free handed these two together, no template.
I think there’s something about stereotypes that we all love. I spend most of my time telling parents that their children will not have missing teeth from playing hockey and then I see this guy and my mind instantly says “Hockey player”.

Making valentine's day cards isn’t something I usually do. I haven’t made any cards, not even Christmas cards in years.
Oh, I used to make cards. I’d have paper, scissors, glue, glitter, cloth, ribbons, buttons, dried flowers, dried leafs spread out all over the floor, table or bed. It was fun but it was also a huge mess to clean up. I’ve Since crossed over to the digital side and I no longer have the cleaning up to do. Now it is on the computer and if I remember to save my work is there whenever I get back to it. But every once in a while I think about all my abandoned card making supplies and I half heartedly wish I had time to do that. But I don’t. Or I don’t make time for it.
Over on the MCP Actions fan page they have these free templates. So I decided that was just the motivation I needed to try making some cards again.
It’s got a variety of templates that are really easy to use
and easily change things if you feel the urge.
These templates work with Photoshop and elements.
If you felt totally ambitious these might inspire you to make your own templates.

I remember the first time someone told me about HDR I was mildly interested but didn’t really know what the heck he was talking about.
Then one day I saw an HDR image but just thought the guy took amazing out of this world photos. Found out it was HDR and had to try it.
So I did. I was quite pleased with the odd ridiculous look and thought that’s just the way HDR looks.
Recently I’ve seen some very nicely done HDR that has inspired me to keep trying HDR.
I found the bracketing button on my camera and remembered how to use it. Set the timer to take 3 pictures so I won’t wiggle the camera pressing the button. I’m not going to tell you about the day it took me half an hour to find the timer or the family picture that I’m not in because I didn’t know where the timer was.
I made the HDR image and then just played around with the sliders until I thought I liked it. It looks kinda flat. Then I scrolled past the 3 presets it came with and something popped up asking me to load more presets. Load presets? I don’t have any presets to load. How do I make presets?
Off to Google I went. As it often happens I didn’t find what I originally set out looking for. Instead I found a bunch of free presets from some generous person over at deviant art! Right there in the comments they told me how to install them.

1WD.CO had this great list of social icons. I went looking for better looking icons, as in better than what I currently have.
I like these pealing stickers and I like all the work these generous people put into making them and just share them. I like you PinkMustache guys! Nice choice of a font on your site too!
The guys at Dawghouse Design Studio came up with the cans. I kinda like them but can't figure out where to use them.
