I had quit making icons. Other people make better icons, I've been super busy and just hadn't given it any thought. Then I randomly got an email from Lisa asking for a linked in icon. I'm over here saying Pfft! Who uses linked in and what does it do anyway? So instead of working on wedding photos I thought Ya know, I might want a snapchat icon for when I figure out how to use snapchat.  ...Before I knew it, my to-do list had no check marks on it and the morning was gone! But I had the best pretty water color icons I've made yet!
I used free water color textures made by Chris Spoon, and hand painted by his sister.

It’s been a while since I’ve given away free social media icons. Well, today I was inspired by the blooming trees to make some watercolor paint icons  in pink for the cherry blossoms, that are in full bloom.

Red, for the red dogwoods that are just starting to bloom.

And purple for the red buds that are almost done.

This free icon set in pink , purple and red includes:

I made these Semi transparent blue gray icons for you to try out. I have no idea if semi transparent is a good idea or not. I just tried different background colors now after making them and I think they might be fine on solid colors.

Big shout out to JRawson for making this huge set of icons and giving them away free!

There’re icons in here for just about any project and the best part is the download includes all these fun colors.

There’re icons for adobe, apple, android, windows, Debian, antivirus, social media, folders, hard drives, mail, office, and a whole bunch of others that I’ve never heard of.

If you want to check them out you can find them at JRawson.deviantart.com.

I think Pinterest is the only icon I could not find in this set so I took the blank tile that’s included in the set and made one. You can right click, view image, save-as if you like or make your own in some of the other flavors.

Maybe someday I’ll make a set like this in pastels… I’d like a set in Pastels, yeah I think I would.
