Pancake Ninja

I like pretty things, anything blue is usually pretty to me and shiney and cool icons for free just make my day.

1WD.CO had this great list of social icons. I went looking for better looking icons, as in better than what I currently have.

pink Mustache vector icons

I like these pealing stickers and I like all the work these generous people put into making them and just share them. I like you PinkMustache guys! Nice choice of a font on your site too!

The guys at Dawghouse Design Studio came up with the cans. I kinda like them but can't figure out where to use them.

clear icons

These clear ones are probably something I'd actually use. I really like the readme file that comes in the download:

Thanks For Downloading!

...and learn how to make them yourself! http://tutorials.mysitemyway.com

My kind of people.

So I downloaded a bunch of icons. Liked them, looked at them and then didn't do anything.

It was just one of those days, not a bad day in the least

just one of those days. It was a day get inspired,

and then do something with the inspiration another day.

PS These are my favorite. They almost look eatable.

PNPFH814-9

During one big thunder storm a lightning spirit forced entry into our TV.

PNPFH814-2

This is the second try on trying to get our TV healed. This time we got this guy to come to the house and do the healing here.

PNPFH814-1

Like the other healer, he laid hands on it.

PNPFH814-5

He looked at it and mumbled things.

PNPFH814-17

Then he got out  symbols, icons, amulets and some contraption for acupunctural healing .

PNPFH814-16

Acupuncture, they use needles right? Yeah, so like I said.

PNPFH814-12

He began expelling it’s negative thoughts and transforming them into enlightened mind and such.

PNPFH814-11

He continued to drive away the possessing lightning force.

PNPFH814-18

continuous playing of mantras…

PNPFH814-19

Then he chanted something about getting a new power supply ordered

PNPFH814-20

and said It may take several weekly exorcisms over several years to expel a deeply entrenched lightning spirit.

This was where we went the first time.

                                            Just kidding

                                            about all of it,

                                           well, most of it.

Love ya and thank you for reading, because of you I’m not just telling stories to my self.

Everything is fine in Tennessee and I’ve recently heard lightning spirits don’t like surge protectors, dunno, haven’t tried it yet.

PNPcs811-16

This is just yum and that’s all.

PNPcs811-7

All you need is some honeydew melon and peaches. I used frozen peaches here but I’m sure no one would write you up if you used fresh peaches.

PNPcs811-2

Pour orange, or some orange colored juice. I’m using orange fruit punch because I don’t have any orange juice.

PNPcs811-3

Add sugar or a combination of sugar and maple syrup.

PNPcs811-4

squeeze one lime

PNPcs811-5

and pour that lime juice in.

PNPcs811-6

bring it to a boil and stir until sugar is dissolved. Then let cool a bit.

PNPcs811-7

Toss the fruit  and sugar syrup and lime peal in the blender.

PNPcs811-8

Blend until smooth. Then taste and adjust if necessary. Then taste again.

PNPcs811-10

Pour into pans or a large pan.

PNPcs811-11

place in the freezer for an hour or until edges begin to firm; stir. Freeze 3 hours longer or until firm.

PNPcs811-13

When you’re ready to serve put it in the blender and blend until smooth. If you left it in the freezer over night it may be a little too frozen for the blender so you might have to do a little bit at a time.

PNPcs811-14

Serve in your very finest glass dishes from the Goodwill

PNPcs811-12

and top with a cherry, it’s only right and sometimes you’ve just got to follow the rules.

PNPcs811-16

PNPsq810-28

You know it’s summer when you can’t leave a neighbor’s house without going home with a grocery bag of summer squash, but it could be any time of the year that my mother and I are having pizza topping competitions. Only rules are you have to use something on hand.

PNPsq810-1

My entry:

Take one of the smaller yellow squashes and slice up about half of it.

PNPsq810-4

Slice up a zucchini

PNPsq810-6

A few slices of red onion.

PNPsq810-7

Get a bell pepper from the garden and scream when you see the worm that has been and is in the process of defoliating the pepper plant.  Gingerly reach for the worm with a brave resolve to squish it once you get it off the plant and have the squishy squirmy thing in your hand hold it a little less tight cause it’s ikky. Yeah, it’ll fall out of your hand onto the ground you can look with all your might and not find the stupid thing. Then you can be sorta relieved that you don’t actually have to squish the worm. Now you can take the pepper inside feeling relieved and a slight bit of guilt knowing the worm will climb back up the pepper plant and go back to eating it. Then shrug and say

Some for me some for them.

PNPsq810-8

Toss in a bowl with a drizzle of olive oil

PNPsq810-9

then spread on a baking sheet and Bake at 500° for 15 minutes.

PNPsq810-10

Flour your work surface and get out some room temperature whole wheat pizza dough.

PNPsq810-16

Take a minute to survey Mama’s mini pizzas with basil in the crust and I’m not sure what on top because I was busy out in the garden screaming at a worm.

PNPsq810-12

Then get back to your pizza dough.

PNPsq810-14

roll it out

PNPsq810-17

to fit your baking sheet.

PNPsq810-18

Lay the rolled dough onto the baking sheet

PNPsq810-19

and shape the edges so the are not hanging out of the pan.

PNPsq810-20

drizzle a little oil on.

PNPsq810-21

Sparingly spread a little dry-ish, not wet tomato sauce on , some cheese and roasted vegetables.

PNPsq810-22

Top with more cheese and Bake at 500° for 11 minutes or until crust is golden.

PNPsq810-28

Let it cool a bit before cutting into.
