I’m not going to lie to you, this doesn’t really taste great. Oh it’s ok, but has this not so good flax after flavor. It just doesn’t taste like a milkshake. But if you were trying to find ways to eat flax meal this’d be a good one.
Smoothies are easy-peasy. I like that about them.
Chop up a few apples. I didn’t have many so I used two.
In the blender add apple pieces, yogurt, fruit juice,
flax meal,
honey,
and cranberries. Blend until relatively smooth. Add ice cubes and blend until gone.
Serve immediately or store in the fridge for a ready to go healthy breakfast smoothie.
Flax and Cranberry smoothie
- 1/8 cup flax meal
- 1/8 cup frozen raw cranberries
- 2 apples pealed and cored
- 1/4 cup raw honey
- 1cup plain whole milk yogurt
- 1/2 cup fruit juice
- 1 cup ice cubes
In a blender add chopped apples, fruit juice, yogurt, honey, flax meal and cranberries blend until rather smooth then throw in ice cubes and blend until ice cubes are gone.
