This little guy flew right into the window and fell to the ground like he was dead. I figured he wouldn’t make it.  I hurried out thinking this was  my one chance to photograph a bird up close without it flying off. So I took a stick (you can’t touch dead birds) and turned him over so he looked a little more alive.

Then I looked out the window 20 minutes later and there was no bird on the ground!

He was up on the table looking around.

Then he flew away.
